JESUS LIVED A LIFE OF LOVE

Jesus Christ have lived the life of Love -

The scripture that I have read about is called - Jairus's daughter:

  • To live a life of love is to live a life of compassionate meaning, you have feelings for  that person or someone?

In the scripture Jesus showed the virtue of love by having the compassion to heal Jairus daughter and the bleeding woman all at once.

What happened ?
Jesus Healed a woman who had an issue of blood because she owned up for she was one who touched his clothes . He healed her to live a life of peace. Suddenly a man named Jairus fell down at Jesus feet and beg him to come and see his very ill daughter. He went with Jairus to his place and said the young girl was not ill but sleeping He told her to get up and immediately she got up and walked around the room.

  • Why did Jesus do what he did?
Jesus healed the bleeding woman and Jairus daughter because Jesus wanted to show love by being able to care and heal them.

  • What did you learn from the Scripture ?
I learned that Jesus showed the virtue of love by being compassionate to the bleeding woman and Jairus daughter. Jesus is being compassionate to two female person by healing both of them at once.

  • How can we live like that now?
By showing the virtue of love by being kind, helpful and caring to others even though if you like or hate them you still show the virtue of love.

  • What does it mean to live a life of Jesus?
To make the right choices and love one another
just they way God loves everyone else.

OUR VISIT TO THE MARAE

RECOUNT WRITING OF MY TRIP TO THE RUAPOTAKA MARAE

St Pius X Catholic school had the opportunity to go and explore at the Ruapotaka Marae. Once we arrived the noise settled down and we waited patiently for the welcoming.

Each child or adult had their shoes off  before they  are too entered the Marae. I liked how we sang, create the flax flower and learn the Pepeha which was interesting to know the difference between a Mihimihi and a Pepeha. A Pepeha is when you introduced or greet yourself but a Mihimihi is quite the same as sspeech.

We also had our morning break and lunch at the Marae, I felt  proud now that we, St Pius X Catholic school is now a family of the Ruapotaka Marae. It surely was a marvellous trip. I hope to visit the Ruapotaka Marae some day.
